How do I make a refund or exchange request?
We apologize for the inconvenience and regret seeing you replace or return the item. Please refer to our refund policy for more information on items eligible for replacement/refund.
Refund Policy
Thanks to you, we see our skilled artisans smile and work passionately every day to meet your wishes. We will gladly assist you if you believe we made a mistake with your order.
Read the following conditions to ensure you are not inconvenienced during the process. At the same time, our team makes the entire buying experience as smooth as possible. We’re happy to serve as a conscious brand that fulfills every order on time without holding onto inventory, preventing product waste and ensuring our customers receive a unique creation made with sheer love.
We understand it can be difficult buying items online without seeing them first and we want you to buy with complete confidence! If you are not entirely happy with your linen you may send it back to us within 7 days of receipt and we will refund you the full cost of your linen minus any shipping charges. Alternatively, you may exchange it for another colour/option.
Linen must returned in the same condition (unused & unwashed) it was sent out to you. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the item is not returned in re-saleable condition. Please especially ensure pets and pet hair do not come into contact with the product and that it is kept in a smoke-free environment while it is in your care. We reserve the right to withhold the cost of a dry-clean service if we find the linen is not in re-saleable condition and requires cleaning.

How to Request a Replacement or Refund?
We apologise for the inconvenience caused and regret to see you replacing or returning the product. Email us on care@iraira.co.nz with the subject “Request for replacement/refund.”
Please explain your reason for replacing the product and attach photographs of your received product. Submit the completed form and wait 24-48 hours until our customer support team contacts you. Further instructions and guidance will be provided based on your case. If the request qualifies our requirements, we offer replacements for the item or a full refund minus any shipping fee.
What if You Received a Defective Product?
You could place your request if you received an item that was defective or in a damaged condition – e.g., the wrong color and size than what you’ve ordered, broken stitches, faulty or open packaging, etc. In this case, you can request a full refund in the form of store credit, including the shipping and delivery fee, or ask for a replacement.

How do I care for my linens?
In spite of the fact that Linen has the most refined and elegant demeanor, caring for it is not as half cumbersome as it can seem to be. A reliable, durable, and the most gentle fabric, in fact. If you are still a little unsure about the same, you can easily follow the following steps to keep the fabric’s beauty intact for the longest time.
Washing Linens
Hand washing or machine washing the lovely linens both can work on your favorite textile. Of course, if you treat them with love, the linens will remain as beautiful as they are.
Machine Washing Linens
When washing the linens in the machine,
* Bifurcate the whites and coloured linens.
* Go for lukewarm water and a mild detergent while washing.
* Do not bleach the linen beauties.
Hand Washing Linens
While washing our finest European Linens with hands, the mantra is pretty much the same,
* Separate the colors and scrub them gently in lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
* Avoid wringing or twisting, as it can be damaging to the fiber.
Drying the Linens
* You can machine dry your beauties at a lower temperature.
OR
* You can air dry the magical fabric in ample space to prevent extra wrinkles.
Dealing with Stains
Witnessing stains on your favorite linen piece can be a bitter affair.
* Treat the stains immediately by soaking them in slightly warm water.
* Rub mild detergent or club soda on the stained area.
* Wash the precious fabric gently afterward.
Washing Bed and Home Linens
These general guidelines hold for all types of linen creations. However, your unique pieces deserve some extra care.
For bed linens,
* Take care of the zippers and buttons during the wash process, as they can break inside the machine.
* Avoid washing lighter items with heavier ones, like curtains and towels, as it can form lint on the lighter linens.
For home linens,
The more you wash linens, the softer they get.
* Soak the heavy items in lukewarm water for some time.
* Clean and hang the damped fabrics on the rod till they drip moisture.
Keeping up the sanctuary of your bed and home linens will be easier this way.
Ironing Linens
Natural creases of soft linens can easily tempt anyone. But if you must,
* Make sure to iron it while it is slightly damp.
* Try to keep them in character and do it sparingly.
Storing and Folding Linens
Caring for linen doesn’t just stop at washing and drying them.
* Store your delicate fabrics in a dry and breathable space.
* Never stuff linens into a closet without proper folding.
* Fold them across the line to prevent heavy creases.
